Sokoto Emergency Management Agency commiserate Victims of Flood
The Sokoto State Emergency Management Agency SEMA has today commiserated with the victims of recent wind storm in some villages of Bodinga Local government area.
Special Adviser of the Agency Zubairu magaji Albadau Sanyinna and NEMA officials said the victims would soon receive relief materials.
Alhaji Zubairu magaji Albadau Sanyinna said the visit was to commiserate with the victims as well as to assess the damage caused by the wind storm.
Zubairu Magaji Albadau explained that, state government is determined to provide relief materials for the victims of kind of disaster in the state so as to cusion their sufferings.
Vice chairman Bodinga Local government Muhammmad Aliyu Tsara described the disaster assessment visit to the area as vital and called on the relevant agencies to come to their aid.
Some of the villages affected by the wind storm in Bodinga Local government include Fanfo, Tsara Milgoma, Takatuku among others.
The incident occurred on the 17 of this month.
Representative of the National Emergency Management Agency NEMA Murtala Sani Yusuf was also present.
